As long as the virus is among us, we will have to keep our physical distance from each other. That’s an annoying message, especially for young people. But a challenge for us.

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE WITH A SMILE

On Friday 20 November we launched our own initiative: Social Distdancing. We not only came up with the concept but also produced the campaign ourselves, with a single, a video clip, a social campaign and a website at its core collaborating with the extremely popular artists Stefania and Rein van Duivenboden.

SWIPE: CONTEMPORARY AND UPBEAT!

The song “SWIPE” has a catchy chorus: a little bit to the left… Swipe! And a little bit to the right… Swipe! Even though the song reminds people to keep their distance, it’s anything but a reprimand. The message has been packaged in a modern ‘love song’ full of clues about corona and keeping your distance.

A HIT AMONG A YOUNGER AUDIENCE

In just a short time, SWIPE received more than 200,000 views on YouTube, was listened to more than 100,000 times on Spotify, and listed in the top 10 of the Kid’s Top 20 for several weeks and the move was frequently shared on Tik Tok. But the nicest reaction was from a girl who said that with the SWIPE “she was really going to keep her distance from others”.
